Who is Idris (Enoch)?
The first to line by hand
The Prophet of Allah "Idris" (peace be upon him) was one of the prophets whom Allah Almighty gave knowledge and understanding. It has been said that the name of the prophet of Allah “Idris” (peace be upon him) (in Arabic), is taken from his great interest in studying. He had a lot of peace to meditate and reflect on the kingdom of God Almighty in those around him.
The Prophet of Allah “Idris " (peace be upon him) was also cautious to keep up with the newspapers that Allah Almighty sent down to his prophets, our master “Adam” (peace be upon him) and ”Seth” (peace be upon him) on whom Allah revealed a lot of knowledge.
It was said that our master "Idris" (peace be upon him) was the first to sew clothes, and the first to write with a pen. When our master “Idris” (peace be upon him) sent the prophecy, the first thing he did was that he called people to comply and abide by the orders of the Almighty divine call that descended on our master “Adam” (peace be upon him), and our master “Seth”. Only a few of his people believed in what he had come, and many of them objected to his invitation.
The mention of our master Idris in the Quran
Allah Said in Quran: And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient. (21:85), And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous. (21:86).
In these two verses, Allah Almighty described our master Idris, the prophet of Allah Ishmael and Dhu al-Kafel, they were all of the patient ones, and that he had admitted them into his mercy; by which he meant his grace in the hereafter or prophecy; because they were righteous far from corruption that might break righteousness in any case
Stories about Idris (peace be upon him)
It was narrated from our master Idris (peace be upon him) that there are a number of narrations whose authenticity he does not know, and they are closer to double because there is no evidence for them from Quran or the Sunnah, not even from the Antiquities left behind؛
it was said that he was the king of Egypt and that he was living in Babylon, but he was offended by its people, so he called on his Lord to send him to a land like it, so he went to it and lived as king of it. Also it was said that Idris (peace be upon him) was the first to build the pyramids, and he deposited various sciences in them that he was afraid of losing, and it was said that these pyramids were graves for him and his grandfather shaith Ibn Adam (peace be upon them), and he was also the first to build houses of worship in Egypt. It was also said that Idris (peace be upon him) was familiar with many different sciences; he was the first to teach people the sciences of Medicine, learned astronomy and used it to know the movement of the planets, and he could infer from astronomy whether there was a coming flood.
